Burke Area Chamber of Commerce

Living in East Burke and having worked with the Chamber on other design projects over the years I was excited when the opportunity to work with them on their website presented itself. I was also excited when Laura, at the Chamber, said she was ready for a change in the look and feel of the site.

The site was facing some technical issues with its current CMS and it was time for a change. This rebuild and subsequent launch was a great way to reconnect with members and reenergize its efforts of promotion and information.

BurkeVermont.com highlights outdoor recreation, lodging, events, and all things happening in the greater Burke area. It also promotes 180+ local businesses and provides important information for its members.

Project Goals:

• Migrate site content to WordPress
• Create a clean and uncluttered site that is easy to navigate.
• Rebuild the member directory and event calendar
• Provide the training necessary so the Chamber can update and maintain the site.
